Everyone in the garage door repair industry has similar operating expenses, so for a service call to vary in cost between “free” and $99.00 means that someone isn’t being straight forward and probably has hidden costs that will result in sticker shock.
Always make certain that the quote you receive for a garage door or garage door opener repair includes the service call or travel charge, all labor charges and all parts charges. By asking the right questions, you as a consumer can save yourself a lot of time and grief as well as weed out the garage door service companies that will empty your wallet and take advantage of you.
Sticker shock can be avoided.
