Solved the Problem
Bill came promptly, fixed a support beam, then reinforced two panels with a brace. This gives me a year or two to save up for a new garage door! Won’t use anybody but Habpro.

I have had issues with our garage door ever since the house was built. Of course considering myself a somewhat ‘handyman’, I made several ‘repairs’ over the last couple of years. Well the pulley on the right hand side was just killing me. The cable would jump off and the door would get hung. I would fix both only to have it happen again is a short period of time. Tired of this but not knowing of any garage door repair men personally, I started doing the internet search and reading reviews. Habpro was local and the reviews all appears positive and so I decided to take a chance. Good choice. I was getting worried about my 9 year old garage door so called Habpro for a tune-up. Chuck showed up on time and completed the work very quickly. Warned me about a few things to watch for in future maintenance, but no hard sell for things I did not need. As things sometimes happen, we experienced a new problem a few days later. Set up a new appointment with Chuck, but before he arrived, he called to ask if I was willing to try a simple adjustment. He walked me through the process and things were working almost immediately. This may not be the type of solution that everyone likes, but I was really happy to get such a quick solution and I learned a new skill! Mark me 100% satisfied.

I have a rental property that recently (10/2/2017) had a garage door problem and needed to have the garage door opener replaced. I contacted Habpro Overhead Garage Door Specialist. They agreed to contact my renter to schedule the service. Great service. A torsion spring on my garage broke. So the door no longer opened or closed. One phone call and Bill was able to get out to my house the same day. Within 30 -60 minutes, he not only had the new parts installed, but also inspected and confirmed that other parts of the garage mechanisms were all in excellent condition as well. I had him replace the older torsion spring that wasn’t broke as well. So I’d have 2 new ones instead of 1 old and one new. Made much more sense to do this longevity wise. I have a 12 year old Wayne Dalton torque master set of springs for a 2 car garage. When the door would not open I did some basic checks but could not determine if a spring had broken since they are encased in a pipe. I took 5 pictures and sent them to Bill at 9:00AM using the email from his website. By 10:30 Bill Farmer called me back and we discussed the following: 1. My current springs were builders grade 2. They were well beyond their normal life at 12 years old (I found average life info on multiple sites) 3. Bill recommended a conversion to a heavy duty more conventional spring set 4. Bill quoted a price based upon the size and weight of my door which determines the gauge of the spring. His tech was on site the next morning, answered multiple questions and was done within 2 hours. I was pleased with Habpro’s knowledge, price and speedy installation. I highly recommend Habpro. PS. Providing photos and specs (often on the existing unit) makes the quoting and scheduling process much faster.

14 hour service
Called them at around 9pm last night, left a voicemail. Had a call back from Bill within around ten minutes. They were here around 11am today. Before he got here, he gave me a suggestion as to how I might open the garage door even with a broken spring, so I was able to scoot off to work at 9:30 while my wife waited. Our garage door wouldn’t open. Obviously something was broken, but we had no clue, so we called Habpro, and spoke with Bill Farmer, who knew immediately what the problem was, over the phone, without seeing the door. He told me to look at the big spring over the top of the door and to look for a break in the spring. Sure enough, upon inspection, the spring had snapped and was broken into two pieces. Bill was at my house 2 1/2 hours later and had a new spring installed in no time at all. He not only was fast and efficient, but very knowledgeable, and a very pleasant conversationalist to boot. My Torquemaster spring broke on a Thursday evening a little after 5PM. I called a couple of companies one of which quoted 599 and up and the other 350-550. Both said they would have to replace the Torquemaster system, but did not really give me a good reason why. I called Bill and he was able to easily explain my options which included replacing the Torquemaster system because the one I had was outdated and difficult to find parts or putting in a different system along with the pros and cons of each. He also gave me a firm estimate of 350 which he stuck to even though the job was a bit more than he expected. Bill showed up the next day one time and did a fantastic job. Highly Recommended!

My garage door spring broke and I couldn’t’ get my cars out . I called Habpro at 8:30 in the morning , and Bill came out in about 45 minutes . He replaced my spring , repaied a roller assembly , lubed and checked all my other rollers and hinges . He was honest enough to tell me I really didn’t need a new door at this time . I had Habpro install two garage doors a few years ago. No pressure to replace the openers or any extras. Very competitive on the price of the insulated doors. I had them come back out as one of the doors was not as smooth moving. Diagonised the problem as a bad pulley, replaced it and inspected and adjusted the door.. Thought I would be paying a service call but was it was covered even two years out. Great service. Highly recommended.

Walter Dalton retrofit
My WD double garage door spring broke after only 8 years of use. I spoke to several contractors and all recommended retrofits only with no option for repair. Bill was patient enough to go through how much it was and what it would take. After going through that, I took his recommendation and retrofitted to a torsion spring setup. Greg came the next day when he said he would (with a courtesy call), did a good clean installation. Very friendly and helpful people. AND cheaper than all of the competitors I spoke to.

I called several garage door companies to get quotes for replacing the springs on my garage door. Bill called me within minutes of my request. I had done a good bit of research and all of Bill’s answers and guidance were in line with my findings (which was not the case for some other companies) and he also provided additional useful information. Great at standing behind their work
Used Habpro about a year ago to repair the springs on my garage door. About a year later one of the springs broke and needed to be repaired. They stood behind their work and warranty and fairly quickly had someone out to replace the spring at no charge.

Wow, wow, wow
Was I ever lucky when I found Habpro on kudzu! I had contacted three other companies first, with no response. Ten minutes after sending an email request I received a phone call from the owner, quick easy and effortless, I picked my doors and windows online. Price quote given on phone after I measured my doors. They are gorgeous! After installation I left to go to store, on my return a neighbor was waiting on her porch to find out where I got the doors and who did the work. They came removed old door, installed new ones and left, you wouldn’t have known they were here except for the gorgeous doors.

Accidentally lowered my garage door against a handrail that must have shifted around. It caught a piece of my bottom bracket, and the bottom bracket bent pretty badly. Sent an email same night(with picture of damage attached via their Kudzu contact page), followed up with a call the following business day. Spoke with Bill , who gave me a price range (from picture sent) which was very reasonable. Went ahead and gave Bill the go ahead to have the work done ASAP Bill said I’d be contacted first thing Tuesday (which i was – by Greg), Greg came by, assessed the work, did the work (in about an hour and a half, or so). Greg replaced both bottom brackets, did all the adjustments that the door needed. The Invoice was within the price originally quoted by Bill. Will gladly give Habpro my business again. These Guys were amazing. I called Bill at 9:00 am, he was at my house at 10:30. He gave me a very fair price and his technician Kevin, was at my house by 2:00 pm. The Technician was excellent and he explained why my door had come down on my landscaping trailer. It was probably the cord that hangs down from the unit! The spring on our garage door broke upon closing late one evening, and our car was trapped inside… Found Habpro on Kudzu, and after reading several good reviews I gave them a call. Within an hour I received a returned call saying that a technician would be at our home around 10:30am the next morning. As promised, the tech arrived after calling to say he was on his way (which I appreciated), and when he entered our home he immediately went to work in very cramped quarters. We called Habpro late on a Sunday evening and the owner, Bill, actually answered his cell phone. Bill & I scheduled a time for his garage door technician (Jay) to come out the very next morning to fix our broken garage door. Jay arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and seemed very trustworthy. Jay did not try to “up-sell” us on any unnecessary bells & whistles. Just to give you some background, we had new garage doors installed in August of 2007 by a smaller company for a great price. Unfortunately, we got what we paid for. Our installation was done very poorly. Bill was very reasonable with his quote to fix our issues. We had to order some materials for our garage and once again, Jay came right back out to complete the repair. We were very happy with the promptness, quality of work, and price we paid. This is how you run a business!
Bill answered the phone and immediately I could tell, this guy knows what he’s talking about. Gwinnett and Cobb Overhead doors was going to charge me $300 to repair my door. Bill told me it could be done for less than $160. He sent Greg (I think that’s his name) and Greg was courteous, polite and most importantly, knowledgeable. He not only repaired the sprocket on my door, but he also lubricated the wheels, changed the light bulbs and adjusted the door so that it would perform at it’s optimum range. I would call these guys again in a heartbeat. The knowledge, the customer service, everything..I honestly can’t think of anything that was bad about the service. They even came out on the same day!

A 2-door garage torsion spring broke. Found Habpro videos on YouTube that explained in detail how to replace yourself. They emphasize taking the right measurements as each door spring is different. One of the cables snapped on our garage door. I emailed HabPro in the evening and had a verbal estimate the next morning. I arranged for them to come the next day. Greg called 1/2 hour befire and showed up on time. He easily fixed the cable issue, and even lubed the door so it was much quieter than before. I am extremely happy with out repaired garage door.

My springs on my garage door broke. This was my first time using Habpro. I was tricked in the past with using fly by night companies, so I wanted to use a company that has been around for a while. Quick service!
My husband left for Iraq in Jan and when he left my garage door was giving me trouble. I had to keep pressing the close button several times sometimes up to 10 times to get it to close. After having my father in law come down and attempt to fix it twice, I decided to find someone! I came across these guys and gave them a call! a Sunday call for help …
Our family was loaded in the car on our way to church on a recent Sunday morning when we had a little “accident” with the garage door. Suffice it to say, our cars were stuck in the garage without our ability to free them. After a quick check of Kudzu, we found Habpro and called Bill about 8:30 AM. He was at our house at noon and fixed the door for an unbelievably nominal fee, especially considering the fact that it was a Sunday Service Call! Did what I asked
I called and got two quotes. First guys (big company) came out and wanted to replace my door (with one of their doors), wanted to charge a fee for giving me a quote. Told me the repair would be almost as much as a new door. Replace two panels, hardware, blah blah blah. When my garage door was repaired by another service company, it still left my door crooked. I was suggested that I may need to replace both sides of rails and possibly spring also, if I wanted the door to be perfectly straight. I found Habpro at Kudzu.com and wanted to have the 2nd opinion. Habpro was highly rated by numerous customers, so I thought he must have great knowledge and experience. I was right! Bill called me right back from the first time I call, set up the date/time, called me every time he said he’d call, and came right on time. Quality Work at Reasonable Price
One of the two garage door springs broke. I went to Kudzu and found Habpro. Called Bill and he showed up in short order when he said he would. He was very personable and professional. He finished the work in little time at a fair price – he replace both springs. It has been nearly three weeks since he performed the work. It appears to be high quality. I will definitely rely on him for my garage door needs in the future.

We purchased our home 10 years ago and the builder had Habpro install our doors and opener.I did not know who to call but found the Habpro decal on our door and called Bill on Memorial Day and he answered the phone and told me he would be at our home the next day. Bill Farmer & Habpro are fabulous!
I was trapped in my garage when the door broke. I called him at the end of the day yet he still managed to be out first thing in the morning. He fixed the problem and even talked me out of getting things I didn’t need (when was the last time that happened to any of us?!) He is prompt, professional and very reasonably priced. Excelent service!!!
Our garage door went out on Tuesday and we had a replacement (including new sensors and manual control by door) the very next day. This was a repl for a garage door opener from 14 yrs ago! The cost of the unit was comparable to what we paid in ’95. Also, the technician did not leave a mess for us to clean up (as some usually do!). Thank you Habpro!

I am very consumer price & quality conscious and called some of the other services for garage door repair before deciding to use Habpro. He (Bill) told me to go to the garage and asked pertinent questions. He was able to tell me what the problem was over the phone by what I described to him! That was impressive. He came when he said, did a thourough job, neat work, no mess and came back the next day with parts to repair another area that was unstable on my door. No pressure, just excellent customer service. His price was lower than some of the others on Kudzu who would not match or beat his price. Will definitely use again and will recommend to my neighbors.

Very cheap but professional
Wow is all I can say… When I called a few garage door companies in Lawrenceville and each wanted $300+ per door, just to install them, I was ready to do it myself! Bill at Habpro quoted me $200 to install both at our rehab on Web Ginn Rd. That’s right, 1/3 of the price. He followed up with me on the time to install, and kept in touch during the next day. His crew of 2 guys worked for 3+ hours to install the doors and do it right. These guys are a no-brainer. Lee Marks

Bill responded with in 30 minutes of me asking him to see if he could fix a sagging overlayed 16x7 garage door. 6 other garage door companies all said I need a new overlay door. Approximately $6 thousand dollars. Bill look at photos I sent him and had one of his guys Chuck there the next morning. Fixed the door for less than 3% of what the other guys wanted. He’ll get my business when I need that new door. Honest and great people! No joke!!
